Throwing an animal theme party for your son’s or daughter’s birthday can be both fun and educational, and give them a celebration they’ll remember. Here are some tips on how to make the most of this special occasion.
Choose the Animals They Like Best
From pocket pets to barnyard buddies to reptacular reptiles, kids have different favorite animals. Find out from your child what their favorites are so we can help plan the best party.
Be Ready for the Weather
Summertime heat can be a problem for kids and animals alike. Our animals need a shady spot, or an indoor location. If it’s over 100 degrees, we need an air-conditioned waiting area, or ice for the animal carriers.
We go “on with the show” rain or shine. We can perform in garages, patios, or under pop-up tents or flies. If you need to cancel due to weather, we need advance notice. See our Prices page for details.
Let the Guests Know the Schedule
There are always folks who arrive “fashionably late”, so you should schedule the start of the party at least 15-30 minutes before the start of the show.
Don’t Forget the Goodie Bags
Your child’s guests will love having something to take home from this special “animal party.” You can either put together “goodie bags” yourself or, for a small charge, we can provide them.
Clean Up!
We always have hand sanitizer available, but it’s best for the children to wash up with soap and water after handling the animals, especially if there’s cake and ice cream coming!
